This site is dedicated to my hobby, collecting of traditional Russian nesting dolls.
Unfortunately in Italy is not easy to find sites dealing with this topic or shops where to purchase them because in our country they are considered, nor is it wrong to do so, as some nice souvenirs that are brought as a gift from visitors to Eastern European countries, or like children's toys.
This kind of attitude is actually not totally wrong, because most of the nesting dolls that you have the chance to see fit this category, but it also exists another family made up of special dolls, handcrafted by artists and that can be compared to artworks like paintings or sculptures
